BACKFALL – a top-down pixel-art survival game in the Backrooms.

One wrong step, and the world folds away beneath you. You land on damp carpet. Yellow walls. Fluorescent lights buzzing forever. No windows, no doors that lead home. Just endless rooms – and somewhere out there, things that hear you running.

What you can do

Explore endless, procedurally generated levels: The Lobby (Level 0), the abandoned Parking Garage (Level 1), the hot, steaming Pipe Dreams (Level 2) – and if you're unlucky enough to touch the wrong balloon… the SS Fun =) (Level 26)

Scavenge almond water, food and tools – and break down furniture and junk for materials. Craft and build your own safe room: walls, doors, lights, a bed to return to

Stay quiet. Sprinting is loud. Hounds hear you, Smilers hate the light, and the partygoers want you to join the party. Light flickers, dies, and sometimes whole zones go black – keep your torch close. Read notes left by other wanderers, follow their chalk arrows… or don't
